How does collaboration with MAS Lucha for a fundraiser really work? Below you will find answer to several common questions.

How is the Partnership formalized?
  • These are co-branded events meaning both organizations will market. MAS Lucha’s marketing will include social media & outreach to local media for all events. Additional MAS Lucha marketing will depend on if there is a ticket split. The organization will contribute to marketing which may also include reaching out to local media.
  • Location & logistics: The charity will handle securing the location & keeps all concessions. 

What types of events are available exactly?

Wrestle-a-thon or charity matches (whole or as part of a larger event)

How do these events make money for the charity?

Ticket sales, merchandise, auctions, raffles, and sponsorships. Wrestle-a-Thons include all these plus pledges.

What happens after the event?

MAS Lucha will provide thank-you acknowledgments to donors, sponsors, and participants. Both in person with personal appearances and through all media.

Does this have to be a one time thing?

No! We will love to have ongoing relationships with community partners all year long.

What does an ongoing relationship look like?
  • Consider seasonal fundraisers (e.g., Wrestle for a Cure from October–March, Pin Cancer from April to Sept) 
  • Keep the partnership visible year-round through social media and community events.

Will the show be too violent?

No! MAS Lucha is geared toward very family friendly performances. We present our shows as athletic competitions where the bad guy may cheat but do so in ways that are family friendly.

No glass, flying objects (other than the wrestlers) or sharp objects are a part of these shows.

American Style or Lucha Libre?

You decide. We have access to several excellent luchadors and American style wrestlers. There is definitely an overlap in the audience but we acknowledge and respect the distinct styles.
